1. Can I trust the people doing the work in and around my home?

Yes! We work hard to ensure that all our employees are honest. We require drug screening (to ensure a drug-free workplace) In the event that we have employees that smoke, they will be instructed not to do so on your premises.

2. What are your normal business hours?

Normal working hours 7am–Noon (lunch) 12:30 pm–3:30 pm but we can accommodate your schedule.

3. What is your policy on payment?

In order to save you money on your job, we bill separately for materials and labor. This helps us to eliminate some speculation on the cost of materials. We only charge for the materials purchased for your project and you select the grade of products/materials.

Estimated material costs are subject to change with product coverage, availability and customer change orders.

Materials will be charged to customer at “below” retail cost. They will be purchased by Painters Plus and invoiced to you. There is no mark-up on materials.

No brushes or equipment will be purchased and charged as materials. Material charges include paint, caulking, sandpaper, cleaners, paint additives, rags, roller naps, mineral spirits, masking tape, putties, spacklings, etc. Painters Plus will require one check for our labor (made out to painters plus) and one check made out to the materials vendor.

Tuesday is our normal “draw” day - We collect "draw" payment (progress payment) for previous week’s work. Tuesdays will be the scheduled payment day each week.

4. Can I pay by credit card?

No, cash and checks are accepted.

5. Where do you get your supplies?

We use several different vendors in Pensacola but primarily Paint Mart.

6. Where is Paint Mart?

They are located on the corner of "U" Street and Fairfield One Block East of "W" Street On The South Side of Fairfield. 2525 W. Fairfield Dr. Pensacola, FL 850-438-2399

7. Do you carry workman's compensation insurance?

Yes.

8. Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes, $300,000

9. Do you provide a warranty?

Yes, one year from job completion on materials and labor. We give you a written certificate at the time of completion.

10. Do you have any non-yellowing paint?

Yes, most acrylic water born paints are non-yellowing.

11. How often should I wash my house?

That depends entirely on the environment, but at least once a year.

12. How often do I need my homes exterior Painted?

Every 4-7 years depending upon the environment.

13. What are my rights as a customer?

    With Painters Plus you Have the Right to:
  • A prompt reply to your inquiries.
  • An appointment time convenient to you (that is adhered to).
  • Complete confidence that our employees are drug and alcohol free - and no smoking on your premises!
  • A fully and properly insured contractor.
  • Ask for referrals.
  • A complete written estimate with full detail.
  • Know when to expect our work force to begin and complete your project.
  • Professionalism and skill from our work force.
  • Having your furnishings and surroundings looking as clean as they were before the project began.
  • All safety procedures being followed.
  • Ask questions and expect educated and detailed information throughout the project.
  • A Professionaly Painted Surface.
  • Change your mind! Always get a written change order detailing additional charges for labor and materials.
  • Get what you paid for! All contracts will be honored to the fullest.
